• reading practice with text readability matched to each student's reading ability

• sustained reading time matched with each student's attention span
• varying degrees of repeated reading practice based on comprehension performance
• extensive practice with 25 comprehension skills
• explicit comprehension skill instruction targeted to each student's skill deficiencies.

Reading Plus® features that assist teachers:

• placement test to quickly and accurately determine optimal instructional programs and practice levels for each student
• level appropriate introductory movies presented to students to establish instructional intent, lesson format, and student goals
• scheduling tools to monitor effective student use
• integrated monitoring system providing feedback and recommendations regarding individual student performance
• various site, class, and individual student reports (graphic and non-graphic reports)
• automated sessions, dynamic instructional flow, guided by ongoing assessment
