"Reading Plus is a program that puts together most of the features that I’ve seen in reading programs in my 40 years of teaching. Wow! What a delight to find all these in one program. In addition, it attracts and holds the interest of students. Taking the Visagraph test enables them to see how their eyes are moving now and why they need to improve their eye movement. They are motivated to do PAVE and Guided Reading. I watch as they do scan, flash, vocabulary training, and scrolled reading and marvel at how they concentrate on what they’re doing. (Sure, there are times they’re inattentive but this happens far less than with other programs I’ve used.) And that concentration pays off. This fall in 14 weeks on the program our students averaged almost 2 years gain in comprehension and almost 1 and a half years gain in vocabulary.
