College Offerings
Reading Plus® is a comprehensive evidence based software solution for reading assessment and improvement that develops foundational fluency and increases reading rate and comprehension for students of all ages and skill levels. It is the result of over 70 years of research and development in the area of reading improvement technology.
The Reading Plus® assessment tools and instructional programs are browser based and are delivered through the internet, so students can work and instructors can monitor from any location with high speed internet access. Reading Plus® has helped over 500,000 students become better readers and continues to be the reading intervention program that assists students who have not found help through other programs or teaching methods.
Reading Plus® college courses allow each student to engage in unlimited use of Reading Plus® for one semester or up to 4 months. Teachers and administrators have access to a management system that allows them to monitor student progress, make setting adjustments and generate reports. Courses can be purchased for college deployment in one of two ways:

Courses may be purchased in volume for a discount. These courses can be used over several semesters and there is no expiration for these courses.

Sites set up a management account (no charge) and have students purchase their courses directly from us, just as they would purchase a required text book. Students enroll online through our site and are entered directly into your site management account. This allows sites to get started for the cost of training alone.

| Assessment |
RPA™ Reading Placement Appraisal is the first step for students as they enter the Reading Plus® System. This assessment determines each student’s independent reading level, reading rate, and vocabulary level and prescribes the instructional programs and content levels that will be most beneficial for each student’s individual needs.

| VISAGRAPH™ III (Optional) The Visagraph™ is a silent reading fluency assessment system that provides a detailed measurement of the efficiency of students foundational fluency skills which determine the effectiveness of all reading activities. |

PAVE™ Develops perceptual accuracy/visual efficiency, the basic requisites for fluent silent reading.

GUIDED READING™ Ensures development of basic visual and perceptual processes resulting in ease and comfort, increased reading rates and improved comprehension.

CLOZE-PLUS™ Develops meaning completion strategies through structured cloze instruction with vocabulary-in-context activities.
